I saw a few reviews on this product that complained that it was hard to install the hard drives but I have purchased two of them, found the hard drives easy to install, and they have functioned perfectly. For the money - a good buy.

Well, It's time to write a review, I have 2 months or so using this product (with my PC running on windows 7) , and I am very happy with it. With this, I could use my old legacy IDE drives or Sata drives from my old computers. The drives accomodate easily into the enclosure, put the 4 screws that comes with the enclosure, and there it is, just connect to the PC through the USB cable (included) and plug the AC adapter and you're ready to go. I used it for 5-6 hours straight, and I didn't notice overheating at all, I was worried about this since the case don't have any fans in it, but the drive's temperature was okay.
It has some cons though, you have to turn it on after you're in windows (or MacOS), but anyway I can live with this. Overall, I am very happy with this product.

I got this as a Birthday gift, I needed it to get data off of some old hard drives. the Enclosuer works but putting the hard drives into the case is a pain especially for IDE drives Im affraid ill end up breaking the circut board inside if i continue to swap out drives
This device works but i would like to see how long it lasts with normal use

Instructions are minimal.
Had to disassemble and reassemble twice.
Pictures are inaccurate and not applicable.
Dont know how long it will last, others have had those problems.
Hope I'm luckier.
